Personally, in KND, I didn't like the idea that the second you turned 13, BAM!!! you're a bad person. Even the good teens secretly have to be the enemy. If living in that world meant you had to be the enemy (or pretend to be the enemy) to kids because of something inevitable, the I would rather live under a rock!! I would not want to be part of it!! Not on those terms!!
